Verses and Translations of Surah an-Nisa Verse 9

وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِيْنَ لَوْتَرَكُوْا مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً ضِعَافًا خَافُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَلْيَتَّقُوا اللهَ وَلْيَقُولُوْا قَوْلاً سَدِيْدًا.
And let fear God if people leave behind their weak children, they worry about the (welfare) them. Therefore, let them fear Allah and let them saying things right.

Content of Tafseer of Surah an-Nisa verse 9
Surat an-Nisa 'verse 9 explained that the economic weakness, lack of stability in physical health and weaknesses of the child's intelligence,
This verse also describes the inheritance. Down as a warning to those relating to the division of the estate so as not to abandon the orphans which may result in poverty and powerlessness.





Life Skill Education (life skills)
Life skills education is a life skill that is owned by someone to dare to face the problems of life is fair, then proactively and creatively search for and find a solution so as to cope. Life skills education is education capability, ability and skills required by a person to maintain the survival and development itself. Capabilities include intellect, heart, and soul power.

Life Skills Education (life skills) wider than the skills to work, let alone a manual skill. According Jecques Delor said that basically life skills program is adhered to the four pillars of learning are as follows:

  1. Learning to know (learning to acquire knowledge).
  2. Learning to do (learning to be able to do / work).
  3. Learning to be (learning to be a useful person).
  4. Learning to live together (learning to live together with others).

Life skills education is an educational concept that aims to prepare citizens to learn in order to have the courage and willingness to face the problems of life and life naturally without feeling pressured then creatively find solutions and be able to handle it.
The elements of life skills education:

  1. Skilled know ourselves
  2. Skilled rational thinking
  3. Skilled community
  4. Skilled work (vocational / hard skills)

Soft skills divided into two, namely intrapersonal skills and interpersonal skills. Intrapersonal skills include awareness, goal setting, belief, love, positive energy, concentration and decision making. Interpersonal skills include communication, motivation skills, team building and mediation.
This verse explains that any weaknesses and deficiencies in the form of economic weakness, less stable physical health as well as the weakness of the child's intelligence is the responsibility of both parents then this verse confirms that each generation must have the skills life skills so as not to be the left.
Understanding of life skill itself is life skills possessed by a person to dare to face the problems of life is fair, then proactively and creatively search for and find a solution so as to cope. The elements of life skills education, namely:

  • Skilled know ourselves (Soft skills)
  • Skilled think rationally (Soft skills)
  • Skilled society (Soft skills)
  • Skilled work (Vocational / Hard skills)


Relationship Life Skill Education and Surat An-Nisa / 4: 9



What do Lukman in menginteralisasikan values to his son is a good example of informal education in the household, as recorded in Luqman / 31: 13-19. One word of Allah which requires that each community is not left behind them generations of the weak, helpless, and do not have the competence competitiveness in life can be read in Surah An-Nisa / 4: 9 as follows:

وَ آتُوا النِّساءَ صَدُقاتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً فَإِنْ طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَنْ شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْهُ نَفْساً فَكُلُوهُ هَنيئاً مَريئاً

And give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, Take it and enjoy it with right good cheer.

وَ إِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلاَّ تُقْسِطُوا فِي الْيَتامى‏ فَانْكِحُوا ما طابَ لَكُمْ مِنَ النِّساءِ مَثْنى‏ وَ ثُلاثَ وَ رُباعَ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُوا فَواحِدَةً أَوْ ما مَلَكَتْ أَيْمانُكُمْ ذلِكَ أَدْنى‏ أَلاَّ تَعُولُوا 


If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, two or three, or four but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess. That will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.

وَ آتُوا الْيَتامى‏ أَمْوالَهُمْ وَ لا تَتَبَدَّلُوا الْخَبيثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ وَ لا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوالَهُمْ إِلى‏ أَمْوالِكُمْ إِنَّهُ كانَ حُوباً كَبيراً 


To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), nor substitute (your) worthless things for (their) good ones and devour not their substance (by mixing it up) with your own. For this is indeed a great sin.

Sura An-Nisa verse 1


يا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ واحِدَةٍ وَ خَلَقَ مِنْها زَوْجَها وَ بَثَّ مِنْهُما رِجالاً كَثيراً وَ نِساءً وَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذي تَسائَلُونَ بِهِ وَ الْأَرْحامَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقيباً

O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single Person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women - reverence Allah, through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you.
